Making a purchase
If you wish to purchase a product, click the 'add to cart' button to place the item in your shopping basket (it can always be removed later). To review the contents of the basket click on the 'my basket' link. A total price will be displayed, including VAT and delivery charges.
To confirm your purchase select the 'proceed to checkout' link. You can checkout as a guest or you can register your personal details so that they can be recalled for future orders. Check that the delivery address and order details are correct and input your credit or debit card details. You will be sent a confirmation e-mail once your order is complete.
Exchange or return
For all orders placed, you have the unconditional right to return all goods bought at Great Western Wine (excl. P & P) within 30 days of delivery. Return the item(s) to the address shown below.
If you return goods bought online, the contract will be cancelled and your credit or debit card originally used for the payment, will be refunded within 30 days of notification from the customer. Should the goods show signs of use or damage on return, we reserve the right to claim for compensation.
Damage in transit
Should your goods have been damaged in transit, please use your right to exchange or return your order. Please make sure to return the goods in the same condition as when you received them. Try to use original packing as far as possible.
Reservation of ownership
All goods will remain property of The Great Western Wine Company Ltd until payment has been received in full.
Failure to pay
Payment for goods is to be made by credit or debit card. Should your credit or debit card have insufficient credit, we reserve the right to invoice you for the costs incurred in making requests for payment.

We do not exchange, sell or otherwise give away your email address to other companies. Your email address and other information are used solely by us for purposes of contacting you regarding your orders and to update you with our newsletter.
We may have to disclose your information to service providers to complete your order. These providers include Interlink Express and other carriers.

Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
- The product you ordered being unavailable from stock.
- Our inability, to obtain authorisation for your payment.
- The identification of a pricing, or product description error.
- You not meeting the eligibility to order criteria set out in these Terms and Conditions.
