Hello big boy! Deep coloured and aromatic with notes of dark plummy fruit, roasted coffee and bittersweet dark chocolate, this well-crafted Uruguayan Tannat displays a veneer of stylish cedary oak and fine grained tannins with just a little more dark cherry generosity and power than many of its south-west French counterparts.

Winemaking

Maceration during 18 days in french oak vats, then racked to oak barrels where the malolactic fermentation took place. Aging was done 70% in french oak and 30% in american oak, 25% second use barrels. Only 2,920 bottles made. Espalier system. Calcareus Vertisol soil. Manual selection of the grapes, berry by berry.
