  • Almost translucent in colour. The nose is fresh with a grassy character coupled with a floral note. The palate is softly floral, clean and fresh coupled with soft ripe fruit. Very nice winemaking.

...this is really nice during the homegrown asparagus season – an English sauvignon taste-alike, Bacchus, a modern cross of sylvaner and riesling. The award-winning Cornish winery Camel Valley does an attractive one...

Clear and pale lemon green. Grassy, lively lemon peel aromas, green apples on the palate with a very clean and very ripe finish. Lush and juicy (2009 vintage).

SIlver Medal2010 International Wine Challenge

Bob Lindo and son Sam have deservedly won many awards for their wines. The sparklers are compelling but I adore this zesty, dry, aromatic Bacchus. Bring on the Cornish seafood. Drink now (2009 vintage).
