    Cabernet Sauvignon
  • Gloria is not a classed growth (neither is is it a cru bourgeois) because it has only existed since the late 1940s. It is made up of parcels of vines purchased by the late Henri Martin from neighbouring classed growths such as Gruaud Larose, Leoville Poyferre, Leoville Barton, Lagrange and Ducru Beaucaillou. Classically St Julien but with an approachability ahead of most wines of the appellation.

Press ReviewPress

Very deep colour, full, spicy, floral, with a clean, classy expression, good depth of fruit on the palate, a very good Saint-Julien for the medium term. Drink 2012-18. 17/20

Decanter Magazine, Decanter.com

Cedary sappy cassis and cassis leaf on the nose. Gentle, smooth and fresh. Easy and harmonious with a spicy kick at the end. Firm but rounded tannins. Drink 2012-20. 16/20
