• Deep foxy red. Vary savoury, ‘old school’ nose of woodsmoke, pipe tobacco and an underlying sweetness of fruit. Very soft, yet still with good density of texture and flavour. Recalls Saint Estephe terroir, although the appellation’s hardness has long since matured away: now utterly gentle. Fresh, refreshing finish. Fully mature, enjoy over next 6-12 months.
