There is a serious volume of wonderfully ripe fruit yet with a precision peculiar only to great wines. Layer upon layer of black cherry and blackcurrant fruit, awesome power and refinement in one glass – a very intoxicating style with a mineral, terroir-driven vein. Very fine indeed and an undoubted star of the vintage.
