• Enormously intense nose of black fruit - damson, blackcurrant, purple plum, with an anise-like spiciness. Rich, succulent and juicy in the mouth, plums peppered with allspice. Almost like Christmas cake in its intensity and complexity of flavour; good freshness to the acidity. This wine is delicious at 2-3 years of age, while having the capacity to age for at least a decade. Question is, can you resist opening it sooner?
