Product details

  • Pure aromas, coconut and grapefruit on the nose. On the palate this has a smooth sweeter style than most gins, with a strong coconut and citrus flavour, there''s a touch more juniper together with a herby note on the finish.
  • History

Mixologist and entrepreneur Gerry Calabrese has built an enviable reputation in Londons bar and club scene. From experience in top London venues such as Lab, Dust, and Sex in the City he went on in 2008 to launch his own East End bar - The Hoxton Pony.
  • Production

Using only natural and ethically sourced ingredients including coconut, grapefruit, juniper, iris, tarragon and ginger. These botanicals are macerated for 5 days before a single distillation in 150 year old copper pot stills to obtain the perfect concentration to then be blended with the grain spirit. After blending the spirits is cut to 43% ABV, it''s then filtered and rested in steel tanks for two months to marry the flavours before bottling and release. Produced at Gabriel Boudier in Dijon, by one of the world''s leading micro distillers Hoxton Gin is made in France using only the finest alcohol derived from French summer wheat. On it''s release in 2011 many purists argued this is not a ''real'' gin, because juniper isn''t the dominant flavour even though it accounts for 50% of the botanical content.
