Winemaking
Friuli, alongside Burgundy and New Zealand, is widely recognised as having one of the best suited climates for the production of high quality Pinot Noir. The grapes for Red Angel are all picked by hand and vinified in the traditional manner in small stainless steel tanks. Skin contact is key to producing top quality Pinot and Jermann has achieved an excellent balance between power and elegance. The wine is then aged in oak barriques before bottling and release.
