  • Winemaker

    Sandro Mosele
  • Variety

    Chardonnay
  • Bright light lemon colour. Unmistakeably Farrago with a nose of lemon sorbet, tangelo and fresh cream. The vineyard site’s crushed quartzy minerality secures the palate, along with notes of meyer lemon and orange citrus, again the fresh cream and finishing with a mealy citrus pithiness. Like Chablis Grand Cru. Delicate, fine and good!

Press ReviewPress

Taut and textured, lean and mean, with white orchard fruits and a hint of smoke, it’s a little reminiscent of a 1er Cru Chablis. Packs a punch.

Sarah AhmedThe Wine Detective

Drink 2009-12 Delicate yet lively with green fruit flavours – a sort of Chablis style. Very sophisticated. 17/20

jancisrobinson.com

Pale quartz-green; opens relatively quietly, the bouquet clean, fruit appearing with some teasing; the palate, while very fine, is immediately expressive and harmonious, with white peach, a touch of cashew, and citrusy acidity. 95/100
