Winemaking

Conceived as a wedding gift for my non-red-wine-drinking wife, for some reason a few fans assumed the maiden La Barry 2008 was a one-off. With the 2010 we''ve realised the goal of using exclusively Elgin grapes. Cool climate floral fruit overshadows light grassy hints, but don''t drink all of it too young for you''ll miss out on the mineral and flinty flavours. Elgin fruit from four vineyards, picked separately early mornings and protected from heat and oxidation.
