GREAT WESTERN WINE SCOOPS INVESTORS IN PEOPLE AWARD

Great Western Wine is delighted to announce that it has received the coveted award from Investors in People - one of less than a dozen businesses in the alcoholic drinks industry to achieve this recognition.

In his report the assessor highlighted how closely the company’s training and development programme is linked to its aims and objectives, how the team feels valued and appreciated. and enjoys working for the company while relishing the challenges it presents. Overall communications within the company are considered very effective, and create a working environment where everyone feels well informed and engaged in the business. This clearly has a positive impact on the business with turnover increasing year on year and desired margins being secured, against a recent backdrop of tightening attitudes to consumer spending.
