Carmel Winery was established in 1882 by Baron Edmond de Rothschild of Château Lafite fame, and is one of the oldest companies in Israel. Sourcing grapes from over 300 vineyards throughout the country, many in cool climate high altitude sites such as the Upper Galilee and Judean Hills, Carmel has become a byword for quality and consistency. From the highly acclaimed Carmel Limited Edition, the company’s flagship wine, and the stylish Single Vineyard series of wines, to the Carmel Ridge range, the company’s team of internationally trained winemakers has amply demonstrated Israel’s tremendous potential as a quality wine producer.
