This château's wine is a fabulous example of a Claret that gives the New World a run for its money. Consistently plumper and juicier than a Médoc Cabernet yet with more structure and definition than most New World Merlot, it really is a must-try wine. This real find of an estate is run by the Modet family and is set back on a ridge of hills overlooking the Garonne next to the Entre-deux-Mers area.
