Some of the grape varieties that grow on the slopes of Campania’s mountains have been cultivated here for Millennia and Fiano has emerged as principle among them. The Fiano di Avellino from Colli di Lapio has been entirely fermented in stainless steel vats, and has an elegance and vibrant acidity the echoes a Grand Cru Chablis. Simply put, this is an outstanding example of one of Italy’s most exciting native varieties.
