Claude Loustalot's attention to detail ensures this domaine goes from strength to strength. Environmentally-friendly viticultural practices and manual work in the vineyard, rather than the use of chemical treatments is resulting in first class fruit quality.

The style here is very much Burgundian and very different from Domaine Castera. Everything is oak fermented and the wines are full of flavour while retaining their crispness and finesse. Quintessence is one of the best of all Jurançon, harvested a few days before Christmas but still retaining that good acidity which makes the wine from this area so unique.
