Guy Capmartin is a great example of a winemaker who is adapting a traditional style through modern winemaking knowhow, without losing the real character of the grape and its terroir, and the vineyard's work ethic follows biodynamic principles.

His red wines are dark and tannic but with lots of fruit, and a softness and approachability unusual in the appellation. Both Pacherenc dry and sweet wines are quite remarkable.
