Jean Tête's family have been wine-growers in “Les Dépôts” since the beggining of the 19th century, a few kilometers from Beaujeu the historical capital of Beaujolais. Formerly, “Les Dépôts” used to be an important staging post for the carriage of wines to Paris. It’s wonderful vaulted cellars are still intact, where after careful selection the wines are matured and bottled on the estate.
