Run by a father, two sons, their wives and three grandsons, this domain extends over two sites in the heart of Valpolicella Classico: four hectares in Negrar and six hectares at 400 metres’ altitude in Fumane. The wines are outstanding and the reputation of the Acinatico name is growing all the time. The style is juicy, with an elegant sophistication, weight and depth allied to freshness and minerality. There is modernity here but also that combination of earth and roses so characteristic of the terroir. Best of all, the wines are accessible when young, so there is no need to wait.
