Set in a state-of-the-art winery at the foot of the Judean Hills (due south of Jerusalem), Yatir has in a very short time established itself as one of the top boutique wineries in Israel. Under the supervision of Eran Goldwasser, who trained at Roseworthy in Australia, the wines have achieved some of the highest ratings ever by an Israeli winery, with the 2003 Yatir Forest being awarded 93 points by Robert Parker. Anyone doubting the ability of Israel to produce world class wines should try these extraordinary bottlings. The Yatir wines are Kosher.
