Winemaking

The grapes were destalked, crushed and macerated with skins during 6-8h. Once pressed the fermentation last 15 days at around a temperature of 16-18C. After the cold stabilisation the wine was filtered and bottled. The grapes were sourced from the Santa Sabina and Finca Rableros vineyards

  1. Big Fruit Rose Review by ben

Lovely intense strawberry pink colour with a blue/grey outer rim which makes the wine look very striking. Lots and lots of red berry and summer fruit flavour fill the mouth and there is is a touch of rose petal which I like and which adds character. Very nice wine, but not outstanding. Just under £10 is about right. Good to have a couple in the fridge ready for summer evenings when a robust rose is required. (Posted on 21/05/2011)
