Product details

  • Winemaker

    Alain Gayrel
  • Variety

    Mauzac
  • A light, crisp blend from Alain Gayrel made with a trio of fresh, vibrant grape varieties. This is an excellent aperitif wine, that will also match gracefully light dishes such as chicken salads. Excellent value for money, and a wine that very much over-delivers on its name (Pinard is the French name for 'plonk'!).

Really impressed, lots of crisp, citrussy enjoyable fruit flavours. I'm usually less than impressed with wines at this price point, but will be buying this again as a good stock white wine for everyday drinking. (Posted on 22/08/2010)
