    Riesling
  • Supple, spicy flavours of apricot, orange peel and vanilla bean are binded by minerality and good acidity. On the nose, there are crushed stone and pineapple aromas with intense citrus notes. On the palate fruity flavours of lemon curd, apricots and mangos prevail, though there is an underlying mineral nuance. Refined and complex with superb length.

Winemaking

Cuvée Frédéric Emile is made entirely from very ripe grapes which are hand-picked picked selectively at the end of the harvest. The vines have a high average age of 30 years which guaruntees low yields and concentrated fruit. The wine is vinified without any residual sugar. There is no oak aging. It is bottled early to preserve freshness and aged for a few years in bottle.
