90 points - Dark ruby in colour, cedar, tobacco, earth and blackberry-scented nose. Quite dense with a supple texture, ripe flavours and some elegrance. The finish is long and pure. Dink this classy Rioja over the next 5 years.

Winemaking

The grapes were destalked, crushed and fermented during 25 days at a maximum temperature of 28'C. The wine was then aged in French (60%) and American (40%) oak barrels for 21 months. The Vallobera Reserva is made from selected parcels of Tempranillo vines. The high altitude (600m) of the vineyards and limestone rich soils ensure that this possesses fantastic purity of fruit and elegance.
