Winemaking

Part of the wine is aged for 12 months in French medium toasted oak barrels, and the rest in concrete vats. Then the final coupage is bottled and kept in stowages for 6 months. All grapes are hand harvested from old vines (mostly planted in 1948). 950m above sea level, the vineyards are irrigated from the Mendoza River, through drainage channels, branches, irrigation ditches and tracks into the stony soil.
