Winemaking
The grapes for this wine were grown in the sun-drenched countryside around Griffith in New South Wales, where the warm and dry climate is ideal for ripening sun-loving Chardonnay and Semillon. Irrigation water is of considerable concern here and is used sparingly from the Murrumbidgee River, which goes on to feed the Murray River. Individual parcels are selected for picking and fermentation on the skins in steel tanks, and after fermentation carefully blended together before bottling.
