Winemaking

The grapes were picked at optimum maturity; both varieties were vinified separately using the pump over and ‘delastage’ methods for colour extraction. The wines were allowed to undergo mallolatic fermentation and were blended prior to bottling. The wine contains equal parts Merlot and Pinotage.
