Château La Croix de Queynac

One of the Châteaux in Cordier's impressive "Selection" range, La Croix de Queynac is situated in the commune of Galgon on the Right Bank, slightly north west of Lalande de Pomerol. The estate is comprised mainly of sedimentary deposits and clay, the ideal terroir for Merlot with an admixture of the two Cabernets. Winemaking and viticulture are controlled by Cordier's chief winemaker, Paz Espejo, who creates an accessible style in the modern idiom.
