The oldest Champagne house, established in 1729 by the famous monk Dom Perignon, Ruinart also has the oldest chalk cellars in the region, some 30m or so below Reims. With a reputation for Chardonnay-dominated cuvées, with real elegance and finesse, the focus on quality is as strong today as it has always been.
