  • Dark reddish-purple, this Languedoc red breathes ripe, grapey fruit, raspberry fruits, and fragrant black pepper with a lightly herbaceous "leafy" back note. Full and luscious on the first taste, its juicy black fruit is nicely balanced by tart, crisp acidity, with soft tannins lurking behind the fruit to create a fresh, mouth-watering flavour - great structure. Very luscious on palate. Finishes on ripe intense black fruit finish - delicious!

Press ReviewPress

A blend of Grenache with around 30% Syrah and 10% Carignan – offers pungently smoky and satisfyingly ripe aromas and flavors of crushed stone, charred wood, blackberry and cassis. Polished in feel, with hints of fruit skin and medicinal-herbal bitterness, this wine offers a surprising sense of lift and even lightness for a Languedoc red – seeming almost low-alcohol in its expression of 13.5% – and finishes with only moderate concentration, yet with a satisfying cling of black fruits, black pepper, and marjoram.
