The wines of Louis Panis were some of the first we shipped from this region. An ex-teacher, with a quiet, thoughtful approach to winemaking and great vineyards, coupled with continued investment in the right tanks and barrels, has resulted in wines of a consistently high standard. Yields are kept low, at 40-45 hectolitres per hectare from old vines to ensure intensity. Now joined by his son Guillaume, Louis' wines are going from strength to strength whilst always of a high quality. New vintages recently tasted at the domaine showed the wines have continued to increase in elegance and are becoming more refined.
