Another real ‘vin de terroir’ and the ‘Rolls Royce’ of Sancerre, Vincent Pinard is one of the most innovative and dedicated producers of the Loire Valley. He has 10 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc and 2.5 hectares of Pinot Noir, planted mainly on the hard chalky land of the commune of Bué, divided between the crus of Les Chemarins, Les Châteaux and the Chêne Marchand.These wines are made in the vineyard where low yields result in exquisitely elegant wines of great subtlety, complexity and concentration.
