This family typifies everything that is great about Italy and its wines. Parents Giovanni and Marisa have now recruited the help of sons Gabriele, Angelo and Giuseppe in the running of the 48 hectares of vines and the winery, while daughter Emanuela takes care of sales and marketing, leaving Giovanni time to concentrate on local politics.The whole family share a similar focus to produce the best and they are helped by some great vineyard sites.

Pioneers of the dry white wines of Roero, made with the Arneis grape, the wines from the ‘Perdaudin’ vineyard are arguably the very best of the area. Some outstanding Bonarda and Barbera are also grown but the Nebbiolo from the Sudisfa vineyard is the real jewel in the crown, providing a fantastic Barolo alternative.
