Whites from the top areas of Rias Baixas and Rueda sit here alongside the outstanding Rioja from Lopez de Heredia (the traditionalists) and Bodegas Vallobera (the modernists). It is however the finds from the new and up and coming areas that bring us the greatest satisfaction; selections from Calatayud and Cigales illustrate the quality in depth which is now emerging from a huge diversity of areas throughout this massive wine producing country.
