Winemaking
Made from a hand-picked blend of garnacha, samsó (the local name for carignan) and syrah from 10-30 year old vines on the slate-rich soils licorella soils.
The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks for 15 days of which 12 are in contact with the skins. Ageing takes place separately in two to three year old French barrels for eight months before a further three in bottle.

Our free in-store collection service is available on via our website, or can be arranged by calling us on 01225 322810. Orders will be available for collection from the Great Western Wine Shop, Unit 3-4, Wells Road, Bath, BA2 3AP only. Please be aware handling time can be up to 48 hours (business hours) from point of ordering. You will be notified by the Customer Service team when your order is ready for collection. When collecting your order, please ensure you bring a valid photo ID, card used for payment along with a copy of your order. This can be a printed copy or you can show a copy of the email confirmation on your phone or tablet. If you are unable to collect your order within 30 days of purchase, your order will be cancelled and payment refunded.
