Ulterior by Bodegas Verum
Conceived by visionary winemaker, Elias Lopez, the organic Ulterior wines showcase Spain’s proud heritage of indigenous, distinctive vine varieties grown in the region of Castilla-La Mancha. To promote complexity and succulent texture, without masking the varieties’ personalities, traditional ‘tinajas’ are used to age the wines. These are 5000 litre earthenware amphorae, which were used for generations in Spain before the advent of stainless steel tanks and oak barrels.
