Domaine Cazes

Domaine Cazes has in recent decades built an exceptional reputation for its dry wines, alongside its continued tradition of sweet and fortified styles.  One of the most respected estates in Southern France, it was founded by Michel Cazes in 1895 and is located in Rivesaltes, in the heart of the Roussillon region between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean.  In 1997, 4th generation winemaker, Emmanuel Cazes, took over from his father and initiated the organic and biodynamic conversion of the vineyards. The estate has added to its holdings vineyards in different Roussillon appellations, including the recently created Clos des Paulilles in Collioure - a staggeringly beautiful location lapped by the azure sea.  Domaine Cazes is now Europe’s largest organic and biodynamic certified wine estate.
