Domaine Maillard Père et Fils

Burgundy

Domaine Maillard was established in 1952 by Daniel Maillard, whose family has cultivated vines in Burgundy since 1766.  Today, sons Alain and Pascal follow in Daniel’s footsteps, crafting especially well-priced wines with juicy, fruit-forward personalities from vineyards in Chorey les Beaune and nearby.  They are expert at bringing charm and appeal to an appellation that historically had a bit of a reputation for making rather hard wine.  Likewise, his Bourgogne and other wines have lovely, luscious fruit without sacrificing mineral complexity.
