Man Family Wines

Western Cape

“Man” is one of the latest additions from South Africa to our Portfolio. It all began as an idea to source the best coastal varietal grapes from regions such as Paarl, Swartland and Durbanville Hill and then vinified into wines at the Perderberg Winery. “Man” is a no nonsense concept looking to capture the heart and passion of the region by sourcing grapes that are characteristic to South Africa such as Pinotage and Chenin Blanc. Not only the cool packaging captures your eye but the attention to detail in the wines themselves ensures that we can offer consistently good quality varietal wines across the range. The name of the wine “Man” was decided when each of the owners realised that producing wine for the UK market would mean giving up their weekends harvesting and vinifying grapes, it was therefore decided that to keep the peace, the range would be named using the initials of the teams wives – Marie, Anette and Nicky
